-Description

Vacheron Constantin is a watch brand founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1755. It is considered to be the oldest watch brand in the world that has continued uninterrupted since its inception.

Along with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, it is said to be one of the three most luxurious watch brands in the world.

This watch is reference 7981 Mesh d'Or, manufactured in the 1970s.
Mesh d'Or" means "mesh" and "d'Or" means "golden. The Ballon d'Or in soccer is Ballon d'Or, meaning "golden ball," which is the same usage.

As the name suggests, it features a woven, integrated bracelet, which shows the craftsmanship of the Maison at its best.

The case is made of 18K white gold. It is a unique rectangular case with a wide side bezel that resembles a picture frame. The wide bezel has a parallel hairline finish.

The bracelet is also made of 18K white gold and is integrated with the case. Unlike the case, the bracelet has a braided structure with a bark finish.

It can be said that this watch is a craftwork, but the bracelet is very flexible and fits your arm so you don't feel the weight of gold when you wear it, and it is also very practical.

The dial is a matte black dial. There are very few dress watches of this age with a black dial, which is a big feature and one of the elements that increases the value of this watch.

The indexes and hands are very simple in contrast to the exterior of the watch, with thin bar indexes and baton hands.

The movement is a manual-wind Cal. 1003/1, a classically designed movement that has existed since 1955 and features a diameter of only 21 mm and an ultra-thinness of 1.64 mm. It is stamped with the Geneva Seal, an inspection seal that guarantees that it was manufactured in the State of Geneva.

The length of the bracelet is for approximately 17.7cm wrist.
Only minor adjustments are possible at the buckle part, but if you would like to shorten it further please consult with us as cutting work will be required for an additional fee.
