-Description

Piaget is a luxury watch brand founded in La Côte-aux-Fées, Switzerland in 1874 by Georges Edouard Piaget.

Piaget watches are known for their beauty and fine finishing. The brand is characterized by slender cases and sophisticated designs.

In addition, it is known as a pioneer of the thin movement, In 1957 it introduced a thin hand-wound caliber and in 1960 a thin self-winding caliber.

These were astoundingly thin at the time, with a thickness of about 2mm.

Piaget is also a luxury jewelry brand, and its watches are also decorated with beautiful gemstones that make use of its technology.

This watch is a manual wind dress watch Altiplano Ref.9025 from 1980s.

Altiplano, named after the highlands of the Andes Mountains in South America, is synonymous with thin watches and is the brand's signature line.

The case is made of 18K yellow gold. The size is a rather small 30 mm.

The thickness of the case is only 5mm, making it almost impossible to feel that you are wearing it.

The case design is characterized by a rounded bezel and narrow lugs that are slightly curved when viewed from the side.

The dial is a very rare onyx dial. Unique to Piaget, which actively adopted various stones for the dial.

Furthermore, baguette-cut diamonds in four places on the top, bottom, left and right of the dial are the most distinctive feature of this watch.

You may have a opportunity to see plain onyx, but it is very rare to see it with baguette diamonds.

The diamonds are not too conspicuous, and the impression is that the design of the watch is both minimal and elegant.

The installed movement is a hand-wound Cal.9P2. It is the successor model of the ultra-thin movement Cal.9P that represents Piaget.

Introduced in 1980, the thickness is 2.15mm, which is 0.15mm thicker than the 9P. As a result, productivity and robustness are improved.

Comes with Piaget genuine leather strap and genuine YG buckle with the Piaget mark.
