-Description

In 1847, Louis-Francois-Cartier started a factory as a jeweler, a French brand with a very long history in the field of watches.

Among the many Cartier watches, the square watch tank is a masterpiece that stands alongside Santos. As the name suggests, it was designed with a tank as a motif.

This watch, which incorporates Art Deco design, has created many enthusiasts, and they are said to be Tankists.

Muhammad Ali, Princess Diana, Yves Saint Laurent, etc. are known as tankists, and among them, Andy Warhol is said to have worn a hand-wound model without even winding the mainspring.

This anecdote tells us that the appeal of the tank lies in its style.

The "must de Cartier Tank" series was created in the 1970s as a diffusion line.

This watch has a geometric design with a gold-based two-tone dial.

It looks the same color when viewed from directly above, but when you change the angle you can see that it is two tones.

The index is a jumping Roman numeral with small Roman numerals only at 3/6/9/12 o'clock, and it is a design with few claims.

The case size is 23mm in width and 30.5mm in length, which is the men's size of the time, and it is a small size not found in current men's models.

Therefore, I think that it can be said that it is a big feature of the vintage must tank that it can be used by both men and women.

A rectangular watch, not a square one, and a gold case are a combination that is surprisingly hard to find even in vintage watches.

This is equipped with a quartz movement, so you can use it easily because there is no need to set the time even if you are not using it.

If you are purchasing a vintage watch for the first time, we recommend a quartz watch because maintenance costs are relatively low.

The case is re-plated. It is a very thick re-plating, and 18K gold plating is applied after nickel plating is applied over the base silver, making it difficult to tarnish.

The battery has been replaced and inspected all functions.

The watch is non-waterproof. It comes with a black leather strap and a genuine Cartier buckle (16mm).
