-Description

Breguet is a long-established watch brand founded in 1775 by the genius watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet.

Abraham-Louis Breguet invented the various mechanisms essential to the wristwatch, as well as the design elements such as Breguet hands and Breguet numerals, during the pocket watch era.

He is also known for inventing complications such as the tourbillon and perpetual calendar.

About 70% of the mechanisms in modern wristwatches were invented or improved by Abraham-Louis Breguet, who is often described as the 'Leonardo da Vinci of the watchmaking world'.

This watch is reference 3130 from Classique collection.
The Classique collection is inspired by the brand's early creations.

The watches in the Classique collection are packed with all the elements that characterise Breguet.

The guilloché engraving on the dial, the coin-edged decoration on the sides of the case and the Breguet hands are the essence of the brand's appeal.

In addition to its beautiful round form, the watch combines artistry and functionality with a simple, lean and sophisticated atmosphere, high legibility and functionality.

The case is made of 18k yellow gold and has 36mm diameter, which is larger than other watches of this age.

The coin-edged decoration mentioned above is a major feature, but the lugs are another area that distinguishes this watch from other watch brands.

The dial has a distinctive appearance with moon phases, a power reserve indicator and a disc calendar.

The base is a pyramid-like pattern known as the Clous de Paris, but the moon phase and disc calendar have a wave-like pattern, while the power reserve section is guilloché in a different pattern.

Breguet does not use a fully automatic machine to do this engraving, but rather a manual machine, which is an amazing feat of the brand.

The movement is a self-winding Cal.502DR.It is a thin caliber based on Frederique Piguet Cal.70/71 and is installed in various Breguet models.

We inquire the production information to Breguet museum. It was manufactured in 1987 and sold at Breguet in Paris in the same year.
