Air-King is a typical introduction to Vintage Rolex.

The Air King is the oldest existing model in Rolex with a pet name (nickname).

During the golden age of aviation in the 1930s, many pilots had Rolex Oyster watches on their wrists.

Air King was born as a homage to the pioneers of the golden age.

A small 34mm oyster case, the dial is based on 3 non-date hands, but there are a wide variety of dial designs including color.

There is a current model of Air King, but the case diameter is 40 mm and the dial has a completely different design.

What all vintage air kings have in common is that they all have a "simple" look.

This Ref.14010 features a decoration called "Finely Engine Turned Bezel" with a three-dimensional marker every 5 minutes on the bezel part.

It has a slightly dressier impression than the air king with a smooth bezel without decoration, and the difference is that the watch looks a little bigger.

Like the base Ref.14000, it was released in 1990, and was produced until 2000 when the minor change model Ref.14010M came out.

The windshield is made of sapphire glass and has excellent waterproof performance. Even including the bracelet, it weighs about 100g.

I think that it can be used by both men and women in terms of case size and design.

It is recommended as a watch that can be used everyday without worrying about it, while having a vintage look.

This watch was made in 1993 and is relatively early for this model.

The dial has a very simple design with a matte black dial and a bar index.

It was replaced with a genuine replacement dial in later years, the notation is SWISS MADE, and the luminous paint is Luminova. The luminous paint on the needle is tritium.

The dial has small threads that you can see when exposed to light, but it doesn't bother you for everyday use.

Oyster bracelet 78350 is included.

The bracelet has 11 frames, so it can handle up to about 17 cm around the arm.
