IWC Ingenieur Instruction Manual

IWC Ingenieur 3521 Black 1990s Ingenieur Ref..3521 Black 1990s

Ingenia has been sold several times in the past, but I think there are many people who have never seen the instruction manual.

It's valuable because there aren't many documents for Ingenia several decades ago.

It is a booklet of about A5 size. This time, I've enlarged it to make it easier to see.

Hmmmm. Watches not only tell the time, but also enjoy the mechanism and design.

Ref.3521, which is the third generation of Ingenieur, is a model that uses a soft iron inner case.

When you open the back cover, you will find another anti-magnetic lid. As shown in the photo above, the movement is covered with a magnetically resistant soft iron dial and a magnetically resistant soft iron inner lid to prevent it from becoming magnetically charged.

The movement is equipped with a machine based on Jaeger-LeCoultre's Cal.889 / 2. This movement is thin and self-winding.

This Cal.889 / 2 is a highly acclaimed movement that has also been adopted by Jaeger-LeCoultre's Master Control, Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak, and Vacheron Constantin's Patrimony.

Thinness that does not seem to contain a self-winding movement.

I think that luxury sports watches have a big image, but this one has a good size and thinness of 34 mm while creating a rugged atmosphere.

A crown with a fish mark that indicates water resistance. The crown has a design that does not exist at present, and this is also unique to vintage.

Next is the name of each part and explanation of how to use it.

The point is that the screw-down crown is high.

The real thing is ...

Next, about the crown function and crown lock.

Remove the crown lock, fast-forward the date with 1-step pull, and set the time with 2-step pull.

Please set the time before fast-forwarding the date except for the "date fast-forward prohibited time zone".

What is the date fast-forward prohibition time zone? Please search for those who say. Ah, this is what it is! You should know.

Regarding the waterproof performance, there is basically no guarantee of waterproofing for vintage watches that are more than 20 years old, so please be careful when using them.

As noted in the above explanation, be sure to return to the original position after removing the crown lock for time adjustment.

If the crown lock is left unlocked, moisture and water will enter from there, causing corrosion of the dial and hands, rusting of the movement, and malfunction.

IWC is a brand that continues to make highly accurate movements without a chronometer description because there are strict accuracy regulations in-house even if it is not certified as a chronometer, but on the contrary, this is a chronometer description. It's a rare watch.

What is Cosa-Libermann? The predecessor of the trading company Libermann-Wälchli & Co.AG (Libermann-Wälchli & Company) was founded in Switzerland in 1912. A trading company renamed to

Liberman Welshley & Company is a well-known company that imported Rolex into Japan nearly 50 years ago.

Finally, let's take a look at the photo wearing IWC Ingenieur Ref.3521 Black.

The arm circumference of the model is about 16.5 cm. With a case size of 34mm, this design and atmosphere is hard to find.

It's really cool.

Ingenieur has been receiving tremendous inquiries even after it has been sold.

I'm pretty lucky the next time I come in because it's not so common even if I look for it.

There are some models with slightly different model numbers, so I'll try to find them. .
