must de Cartier Tank LM Gold Small Roman

Item Number: CARTIER113

In 1847, Louis-Francois-Cartier started the workshop as a jeweler, and it has a very long history in the field of watches.

Among the many Cartier watches, the tank of the square watch is a masterpiece along with Santos. As the name suggests, it was created with a tank motif.

This watch with Art Deco design has given birth to many enthusiasts, who are referred to as Tankists.

Muhammad Ali, Princess Diana, Yves Saint Laurent, etc. are known as tankists, and among them Andy Warhol seems to have attached even the hand-wound model royal fern without winding.

This anecdote tells us that the charm of the tank lies in its style.

The "Mast Tank" series was created as a diffusion line from the 1970s. The

case uses a technique called Vermeil, which is also a feature of the mast series.

Vermeil is a technique of bonding 20 micron 18K gold thin plates at high temperature and high pressure based on solid silver (silver 925), and can be seen in antique jewelry.

The base is silver and it is very thick gold-plated, so it is very luxurious compared to general gold plating.

In addition, there are various variations in the dial design of the mast tank.

This watch has a gold-based two-tone dial with a geometric design.

It looks the same color when viewed from directly above, but you can see that it has two tones when you change the angle. The

index is a jumping roman with a small Roman numeral only at 3/6/9/12 o'clock, and it is a design with few claims.

The case size is 23mm in width and 30.5mm in length, which is the men's size at that time, and it is a small size that the current men's model does not have.

Therefore, it can be said that it is a big feature of the vintage mast tank that it can be used by both men and women.

A rectangular watch instead of a square watch, and a gold case is a combination that you can't find even in a vintage watch.

This is equipped with a quartz movement, so you can feel free to use it because you do not need to set the time even if you are not using it.

If you are purchasing a vintage watch for the first time, we recommend the quartz type because the maintenance cost is relatively low.

The case is re-plated. It is a very thick re-plating, and nickel plating is applied on the ground silver and then 18K gold plating is performed, so it is in a state where it is hard to discolor.

The watch is non-waterproof.

Comes with a light dark brown leather belt.

Case has been re-plated and windshield has been replaced.

Batteries have been replaced at Matsuno Clock Shop. 1 year warranty.
